Android Security Update Verizon Galaxy Note5 and S6 edge+

Verizon has started rolling out a brand new update to Samsung Galaxy Note5 and S6 edge+ units on its network. The update bumps the software package version of the devices to N920VVZW2BPF2 and G928VVZW2BPF2, severally. This a android security update which is released by the Samsung for the Verizon customers.

The update brings on latest Android security update to each phones. Nothing else looks to be enclosed within the update this point because the official change-log only says “the current software package update provides you the foremost up to this point Android security patch on your device.”

As is typically the case with OTA roll outs, it’s going to take it slow for the update to hit your device. Meanwhile, if you are feeling impatient, you’ll be able to manually check for the update by heading to your handset’s Settings menu.
