Locating a person using their cell phone number is possible, thanks to technologies that allow you to locate mobile phones, in the case of theft or loss. You simply need to associate an email account with your device or download an application to be able to locate it on a map via the Internet. However, the mobile phone must be switched on and the tracking service activated at the time of the scan.
N.B. If the phone has no battery or is shut off, it will not be possible to track it.
Track Your Android (Samsung) Phone
In order to track your Android, download AndroidLost, or enter directly into the Android Device Manager, if you have a Gmail account associated with your device.
Locate Your iPhone
To locate your iPhone, log in to iCloud with your Apple ID credentials. Once signed in, click Find My iPhone. Select your device and the tracking will begin. If successful, you should be able to see its location on the map. If you did not activate Find My iPhone when you set up your device, this method will not work.
Find Your BlackBerry Phone
In order to find your BlackBerry, you must install and configure BlackBerry Protect. After the setup is complete, go to the Blackberry Protect website and log in with your BlackBerry credentials. Ensure that your device is selected. (If it is not, go to the Model menu to change the selected device.) Then, select View Location.
