Oneplus 2 starts receiving Marshmallow update

We already recognize that OnePlus has been beta testing the OnePlus 2 Android Marshmallow update for over a couple of months now. If you recall, last month, the company said that the official roll-out can begin among a couple of weeks. Now, inline there with time frame, the ultimate update has started hit the device.

Rolling out as OxygenOS 3.0.2, the update – that brings on android version 6.0.1 – was announced by OnePlus yesterday. It’s an progressive rollout (like it’s always the case), with the Chinese firm saying that every one OnePlus 2 units can get the update in 48 hours.

Aside from the standard Marshmallow goodies, the update also includes some other features and enhancements – for the complete change-log, head to the supply link below. Here’s an important change that the company says is worth noting: The “update will delete your stored fingerprints. If you’ve got fingerprint authentication found out, you may got to re-enroll once more before use.”
