OnePlus 3’s Optic AMOLED is really Super AMOLED

The OnePlus team had a very busy night – they launched the OnePlus three which got many nice review, obviously, however they additionally did an AMA over at the android subreddit to answer users’ burning questions as well as many doubts.

One question was concerning was about the “Optic AMOLED” display. Turns out, it is just a current generation Samsung Super AMOLED with hardware and software tuning by OnePlus (co-founder Carl Pei says few corporations purchase displays off-the-shelf but provoke their own customization’s). The software tuning has integrated into the setting pages.

There were different questions about the storage & interesting answers too. For one, there is solely the 64GB version, for now, no 128GB. The microSD slot was removed as a result of cards area unit slow (compared with UFS 2.0 which has nearly 350MB/s ) and also the slot makes the device bulkier.

There will not be any ‘lite’ models either. The EU version of the phone will work on German LTE and there is VoLTE support. The OnePlus 3 uses the standard DAC that comes with the snapdragon 820 chipset. For more spec details click the link here.
