Samsung has updated its Samsung+ app that has customers with support information, diagnostics tools and app recommendations with a handy new feature: remote help.With the newest version of the app, users will enable a Samsung rep to remotely access their device to troubleshoot and fix software system problems — negating the necessity to go to a service center or find a facilitate guide.
The feature is activated throughout a phone call or video chat with a Samsung support executive. However, it’s solely on the market for the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge for now; the corporate says it’ll expand the service to alternative devices over the approaching weeks.
It’s value noting that Samsung isn’t the first company to return up with remote help for mobile devices: In 2013, Amazon declared its distress signal live support service that takes over your Kindle fire to assist fix problems with it.
