WhatsApp ban users using third-party app versions complying to users and platform security issues, Facebook-owned messaging app WhatsApp is banning accounts of users WHO are using changed versions of the app like WhatsApp and and GB WhatsApp.
These altered versions of the messaging app are developed by third-parties where the corporate cannot validate their security practices. These unofficial apps violate the Terms of Service clause of the official app.
“If you received an in-app message stating your account is ‘Temporarily banned’ this suggests that you are probably using an unsupported version of WhatsApp rather than the official app,”
the corporate wrote in a very post on Monday. The accounts haven’t been prohibited for good, though users are adviced to back their chats up before creating the switch.
